GateKey is a 1DL concept.
One Day Less (1DL) is focused on building community-driven solutions around problems worth solving. GateKey is one of those concepts: bringing landowners and pest controllers together through a simpler, more transparent approach to property access, coordination and pest-control activity.
GateKey is currently in development and will continue to evolve as the concept is tested, refined and shaped with the people who will use it.
If you would like to know more about GateKey, discuss the concept, or explore opportunities to be involved, please get in touch.
Putting property access back in the landowner’s hands.
GateKey is being developed as a nationwide platform to connect landowners and pest controllers, coordinate approved access, support safer pest-control activity, and create a reliable record of what happened on the property. The platform is still evolving, and many of the features shown here will continue to be refined as the product is built and tested.
Know who has been on your property — and what happened while they were there.
GateKey is designed so that landowners remain in control of access. A pest controller, team or organisation does not simply gain access because they use the platform. Access is intended to be tied to an approved pest-control activity, with the landowner able to see who is attending and when that activity is taking place.
Once a mission is completed, GateKey can build a running property history showing previous visits, the pest-control team or controller involved, the species targeted and the number of pests dispatched during each visit. Over time, that gives landowners a much clearer picture of pest-control activity across their property.
No more missed calls, voicemails or scattered text messages.
GateKey brings property access requests into one place. Instead of trying to keep track of phone calls, voicemail messages and text threads, landowners can receive and review pest-control access requests directly through the platform.
Each request clearly shows who is asking to enter, the proposed activity, the property, timing and pest-control details. The landowner stays in control with two clear choices: Approve or Decline.
Built to change the way pest control is coordinated nationwide.
GateKey is starting with the core problem: getting the right people onto the right property, with clear approval, accountability and reporting. From that foundation, the platform can grow into a much broader pest-control coordination network.
For Landowners
Control access, approve missions, view activity and build a long-term pest-control history for each property.
For Pest Controllers
Connect with approved work, receive the information needed for a mission and report outcomes back through one platform.
For Pest Control Organisations
Coordinate teams, roles, planned missions and landowner approvals with greater visibility from start to finish.
We’re building the first phase now.
The concepts shown on this page represent the direction of the GateKey platform. Screens, workflows and features may change as development progresses, user feedback is gathered and the platform is tested in real-world pest-control environments.
